Found this jewel on craigslist yesterday. The guy said that he just had the heads and head gaskets replaced, but within a few days it started running rough and he thought it blew another head gasket. He was asking $975 for it, but I talked him down to $675. My cousin was suppose to haul it for me, but he bailed on me so I had to pull it home with my trust old blazer... luckily it was only about 30 miles away! Pulling the car home. Sprayed it off with a garden hose Here's the interior (still dirty)

Pulled the car into the shop... It took about 5 mins to figure out it was a bad computer (not pulsing number 2 inject - instead it was keeping it on all the time causing it to run insanely rich.) Fixed the computer and changed out the number 2 plug and it ran GREAT. Did I mention it came with a full tank of gas! lol Tossed on some new front brakes and she sailed right through inspection! Drove it for a few days and just couldn't stand the stock v6 wheels anymore. I time I looked at the car I felt like puking... so I hit up the local mustang forum and found a set of bullitts with new tires, so I snagged them up!

The car looked much better now, but the stock tail lights just weren't cutting it for me... so I hit up craigslist again and found a set of 96-98 taillights for $40 bucks. Tried color matching them, but couldn't match the laser red... Looked great, but not a good color match. So I decided to paint them semi gloss black for now. Found a set of laser red '96 tail lights locally, just waiting to hear back from the guy - hopefully I'll get them though!

Ut Oh, what's that? Well it's a 2000 f150 4.2 complete from oil pan to tb, with all the accessories of course. Not bad for $70 dollars - oh, and he's throwing in an engine stand! The motor is said to run good, but it had high miles. Gonna tear it down and rebuild it (new rings, bearings, gaskets, etc.

I think I'm going to wait until I have all the performance parts that I want, then toss them all on at once...
Here's the plan:
4.2 long block (have), ported heads, ported intake (windstar), cam, 65mm tb, underdrive pulley, upgraded injectors, tune? 100 shot?
Stock manifolds, catted h-pipe, flowmaster catback (have)
Aerostar alum driveshaft, 8.8 with 3:73's (have)
PBR Brakes
bullitt springs, new shocks and struts (just budget kybs)
Mach 1 chin spoiler, cowl hood, fresh redfire paint...

A few updates:
Put in a new clutck kit, replaced the clutch fork, and had the flywheel turned, and installed a new rear main seal.
I also changed the water pump while it was in shop (my uncles shop - he let's me use a bay.)
Also, I searched the truck and found a keyless entry module, so I ordered a new remote. That came in yesterday, so I got it programmed last night.. One of my favorite *mods*.
Oh, and I ordered some clear turn signal lenses off ebay for 7 bucks shipped! Should be here today! I'm going to clean up the stock headlights and install the turn signals this weekend.
I have a full detail planned for this weekend.
